Well I apparently have a debt from you yet I have never received ANY mail from you. I went to your website where it requires you to enter an account number, well, I obviously have NO idea what that is since you never mailed me anything. I obtained your contact info from my credit report, got your email from your website, sent you an email explaining this, and never received a response which doesn't come as a surprise given your past reviews. For a company who's one job is to collect money you sure are terrible at it... Joke'... read more

I keep getting phone calls from them. i don't have any det. all my bills are up to date

Business response:

We are in receipt of Mr. ******’s review. After a thorough search of our records, we were unable to locate an account in our office that is triggering the calls to Mr. ******. If Mr. ****** could provide Firstsource Advantage, LLC with the phone number we are calling, we can block this number from being dialed by our office. Mr. ****** can provide this information to our office from our company website, www.********************.com, via the ‘Contact’ link in the upper right-hand corner, then selecting ‘Customers’.

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone Very often. I have not responded to any of them. Today is the first time the caller left a phonemail, The voice, I believe, is female and the accent seems to be from Asia (eg.india). i've been seeing posts that this is a scam. They elude to being a collection agency. ALL of our accounts are up to date and NOT in arrears. My wife has been managing our household and personal finances for 52 years. We have NEVER filed for bankrupcy. Should I continue to ignore these contact attempts?... read more

I entered into a written settlement with them to make payments of $150. I have never been late on the payments since i set up autopay the very first time I spoke with them. All of sudden after three months of payments they don't attempt to get the payment for August. I called to see why there was a delay and I'm told and I quote "mam you have a $0 balance with us, this account has been returned to *********bank." I was confused but I said ok. I then hung up and called *********who tells me that the agreement was broken due t... read more

On August 16, 2021, this account was closed from our office by ********* ****and Firstsource Advantage, LLC was unable to process any further payments. Ganesh M***!!!!!!!!!! He's the man, I of course was very skeptical of a scam. He was very patient with me and allowed me to pay my wife's ******** ******* settlement through ****. Everything should be settled, he dealt with my frustration, anger, and all the negative emotions you have when you feel like it's a scam. He was amazing, if you are speaking to anyone else you're doing it wrong. Thank you sir for allowing me to realize that debt collection companies have good humans in them! Give this man a raise!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Business response:

We are in receipt of Mr. *********’s review and appreciate him providing this feedback. We are very happy to hear our representative assisted Mr. ********* so well. Firstsource Advantage, LLC takes pride in providing the best customer experience so we can assist consumers during a difficult time. We have also sent this review to Ganesh’s manager. Firstsource Advantage, LLC would like to thank Mr. ********* for taking the time to write this review and are happy that we could assist him in resolving his wife’s account.

Phone number attempted to call me. I answered. They failed to identify themselves as a collection agency or divulge any reason for call other than a personal business matter. Debt collection laws require debt collectors at least in our state to identify themselves. Wish these companies would learn proper procedures.

Business response:

We are in receipt of ****** ******’s review. After listening to the April 30, 2021 call recording, the representative identified her name and asked to speak to ****** ******. An unidentified male would not state his name and asked what the call was regarding. We do not reflect the male asking for our company name. As the male would not confirm his identity, we could not disclose the reason for the call. We are required to verify a consumer’s identity on every call to ensure we are not disclosing their personal information to... read more

They will take additional money out. They act like its not a problem. I still haven't received payment back. I wish i had asked if another way to pay my payments instead of through them. They arent professional and untrustworthy

Business response:

We are in receipt of Ms. *****’s review. On January 5, 2021, Ms. ***** logs into our website and scheduled 12 payments to pay the account in full. On February 24, 2021, Ms. ***** called into our office to pay the account off earlier and scheduled a payment for the remaining balance. Ms. ***** never deleted the online payments she scheduled which is why the additional payment was processed. On March 18, 2021, we sent a refund request to be processed in the amount of $43.00 which was refunded back to Ms. ***** on March 24, 202... read more

Notice of debt owed. Did not recognize "original creditor". Called phone number provided (three times) and all three times spoke to a woman with a distinct Indian accent. She asked me my husband's birth year, which I provided. Responded with "that doesn't match our information. What is his social security number?". I told her "I don't give out social security numbers over the phone to strangers. If you have a legit debt, send the supporting documents." And that's where the call ends all three times; they hang up on me. Scam.... read more

Business response:

Firstsource Advantage, LLC has certain verification procedures that need to be followed when consumers contact our office. We reviewed two inbound calls from Ms. **** on February 3, 2020. Ms. **** was asked to verify the last four digits of the primary customer's social security number which Ms. **** did not want to provide. She was then asked to provide only the year in which the customer was born. As Ms. **** provided a different year of birth than we had on file, the verification process was not completed and the call cou... read more

Company keeps calling my home, even though we have attempted on several occasions to refer them to our bankruptcy attorney. The company refuses to send documentation to our home related to the debt so we can provide this information to our attorney, as well.
