We live at Motif in Brentwood, Burnaby, B.C. and after experiencing the lack lustre service of previous building managers in our building, it is refreshing to now have the current services of our recently hired building manager, Zana! The common areas have never been cleaner and she is always around if anyone needs her. Our pets all LOVE her and she goes above and beyond to ensure our needs are met in the building.

Our Concierge Team Lead Rohini S and her team offer exemplary service with dedication and commitment. Rohini goes above and beyond her call of duty and does not hesitate to stay back when there's an emergency even if that is after her work hours. Our Strata Council members appreciate all her efforts and willingness to find solutions to keep our building safe and well maintained. A BIG THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US HERE AT ALPHA LUMINA!! I am both shocked and heartened to read so many of these reviews saying the company scams people out of money. They are doing the same to us. When they took over management three years ago, they started claiming we owe over three thousand dollars that we do not owe. We immediately proved this to them, but they never removed the charge. We have continued to try to have it removed, and they turned vicious and nasty against us. The Building Manager at our property (managed by First Service) failed to respond properly to the willful bad behavior of one of their employees who verbally assaulted me (a unit owner) in late November 2023! I spoke to their V.P. on Friday, January 19, 2024 and got the impression that he cared, both about me and about the actions of their employee, and that appropriate action would finally be taken in response to the egregious attacks that their 3rd shift doorman, which he admitted to making! Recently I had the pleasure of being provided with terrific customer service from DIANE ESOLA at the Boca Pointe Homeowners Assoc. I had a bit of a tricky problem with my specific community's security gate; and Diane handled it both swiftly and patiently. She knew exactly what resources to use to fix the problem, including summoning the Director of Security for a quick consult with both of us. Steve Weisberger

The Phoenix management team of Sarah, Debbie and Steve and the team from the Carlyle of Andrea, Anna Marie and Tim are some of the most organized and detailed people you will meet. Horrible management company - the building manager, super and board think compliance with NYC housing laws is optional, e.g., heat never turning on in a timely manner, hot and cold water violations, etc. this building is completely mis-managed and residents are gaslight when they raise issues. Instead of fixing the issue, the response is why did you report that? We pay alot in maintenance and it goes up every year but the service and condition of the building is deteriorating. for example, leaks are not a priority

This company outsources everything... a Form B was difficult and expensive to get. The admin didn't forward the instructions, I was waiting for a form as per the customer care. I had to wake up the property manager who was helpful but has nothing to do with the form request. in the end I am dealing with a third party company to provide my strata legal document. there is no one at first service who can help and for that matter frankly couldn't care less to help.
