I am both shocked and heartened to read so many of these reviews saying the company scams people out of money. They are doing the same to us. When they took over management three years ago, they started claiming we owe over three thousand dollars that we do not owe. We immediately proved this to them, but they never removed the charge. We have continued to try to have it removed, and they turned vicious and nasty against us. Horrible management company - the building manager, super and board think compliance with NYC housing laws is optional, e.g., heat never turning on in a timely manner, hot and cold water violations, etc. this building is completely mis-managed and residents are gaslight when they raise issues. Instead of fixing the issue, the response is why did you report that? We pay alot in maintenance and it goes up every year but the service and condition of the building is deteriorating. for example, leaks are not a priority

THIS IS the worst management company ever. They are not responsive, incompetent and outright rude. In particular our building manager, Joseph Driscoll is completely inept, toxic and demonstrates gashlightling behaviors. His boss Mark Pepe condones this by refusing to address it despite multiple reports. I have witness unethical and unsafe practices. Here is my predicament - I lost my tax abatement credit for 2018-2019 tax year, bcz FirstService Residential failed to provide me with the Tax Abatement questionnaire in 2017. THE FACTS: I purchased my coop apt on 6/30/17. Said questionnaire was never given to me at closing, therefore I had no idea from the get-go that the coop is tax abated. irstService Residential is a property management company operating in Canada and the United States who have been scamming their residents for years. First Service has been our managing agent for decades and I cannot express strong enough how important they are to the daily, weekly, monthly, yearly running of our building. UPDATE AS OF APRIL 9 I have now received an message on Yelp from Emily from FirstService basing call my Real Estate Agent and myself LIARS regarding the evidence of the money order I have pictured in my review. So I am guessing I must have photoshop the Money Order and that it never existed. I do not appreciate being called an Liar and have made this situation up.
