I'm giving a 1 star review because I cannot go any lower. FirstService has an office in downtown Calgary, but for some reason they cannot be contacted directly. Instead, I'm connected to a call center where agents are unable to provide any help as they're unable to access my account. An alternate way of communication is by filling out a request form on their website which indicates you'll get a response within 48 hours but it's been months at this point with multiple requests that have gone unanswered. I would like to sincerely thank Farhan and Monica for helping me apply for the door fob last time. Their prompt responses made me feel confident and at ease throughout the application process.
Property Management Companies can be hit and miss...but I am happy to say I have only had positive interaction with FirstService Residential Calgary. With some recent renovations to my unit - Nicole Martinez was professional & responsive with my paperwork, questions, submissions & always getting back to me in a timely manner - nice to see!
If you are thinking about buying a condo that is managed by First Service Residential please DO NOT!!! I have had nothing but problems going through this “management company” to get into contact with my condo board. They can’t even tell me what the board is saying in response, so I can’t even be sure they are getting any of my messages. Absolute joke of a “property management” company. I have lived in a complex “managed” by first service for 3.5 years now and haven’t had a single positive experience. Impossible to reach and don’t respond to emails. Don’t waste your money on this company
