I had the worst customer service experience with provider services. I spoke with Natasha (REF#2743801), who repeatedly told me the provider was out of network but failed to explain that the plan includes out-of-network benefits. After 10–20 minutes of going in circles, I finally asked if out-of-network providers could be used, and only then did she admit yes, but emphasized that this provider was out of network. That critical detail should have been clearly explained upfront when I asked for a benefits quote.

By far the worst insurance company I have ever used. Takes 6 months to process a claim and then wants to send said claim straight to collections. I'm not surprised this company is going out of business.

Need a surgery, this company can not answer any of my questions and it seems I will be over 10k out of pocket. Terrible customer service, more confused after phone call than before. If my employer did not provide this service I would absolutely never use it again.

Fraud company. They offer FirstMedicare Direct and they put a bogus "Member Services/Benefits Questions" phone number on their card (844) 499-5630. I have been trying to reach them since January 1 and my calls all go to Alignment instead who tells me I'm not in their system. I filed a complaint for fraud medicare program with the US govt Ombudsman 800-MEDICARE (800) 633-4227 and the US inspector general's office 1-800-HHS-TIPS (1-800-447-8477) and with the NC insurance offices.
