We had two loans go through first Washington in a short turn around. We thought we were dealing with a family friend that we knew from our kids sports. Come to find out during our current new refinance that we were taken to the cleaners. We were forced into a horrible loan with unbelievable fees etc . Fees and terms we never agreed to. Just found out I have been paying PMI when I didn’t need to. We have been recommending First Washington Mortgage since working with them for the first time in 2014. Adam does a really good job with all loan types from credit-challenged, difficult files, to those with excellent credit, and we have found him to have the best rates and lowest costs for our clients. Being a smaller mortgage company means they have lower overhead to pay for, so they don't pad their loans with a lot of extra fees. Stay away. Awful communication, was sent other people’s documents during mortgage process which probably means my info was sent to others as well because of their incompetence. Just received a letter that my data(social, license, bank account) was accessed and obtained by an illegal intruder from their system. Again, stay away from this broker.
