**** and others concerning identity theft. The same thing happened to me. The called and said I owed money on a loan I knew nothing about. I too sent in all of the paperwork and even had to go get notarized. I froze all of my credit reports and put an identity theft notice on them. Yesterday I got an email saying everybody sent did not prove identity theft? How can these people give loans over the internet with no request for ID??? They said my social and everything matched so they gave a loan???? How can this be legal?

Omg goodness I was shaking and upset when I walked out of this particular checksmart I was so embarrassed with the way I was treated in front of other customers. The young lady was very loud and rude. She was basically blasting some of my business very loud and was very belittling as well.

I have been a long time customer making my payments. My account was drafted within 5days of me making my previous payment and they seem to not know why and its not showing on there computer. So i go to my bank to get a statement to prove they drafted and they telling me it an investigation account has been overdraft because the money they pull was for another bill. I dont recommend at all.

I have been doing business with this company for over a year without problem. I get a installment loan in August and then was recently diagnosis with Stage III Breast Cancer and informed customer service that I'm unable to payment my standard bi-weekly payments of $162.76 on account # ************and thus informed that there's nothing that can be done! I went to get a Loan in August 2019. I had needed $300 for an emergency to pay my rent. I am really good at paying off my loan, from a previous Check Smart and had a perfect record, there. I get there and normally they print off the paperwork. I know it's a lot of papers, but they said that they weren't able to print it off, so I had to just sign electronically, on my phone. I was a victim of identity theft and contacted Cash Central since they were the ones who granted credit to the criminal. I followed all the steps I was asked to take by Brittney the person who was dealing with the case. I then followed up to see what the status was regarding having the fraudulent account removed from my record and was told it would take 30 to 60 days. They call my phone 20 times a day. I have asked them numerous times to stop calling. Today I file a complaint with the Attorney General. After I asked them to stop calling today, she called back 3 times telling me they are not doing anything wrong. They are breaking the law with harassment and I want them to STOP calling.

First I was approved, then after jumping through MANY hoops and paid $400.00, I was told I needed to pay another $300.00 to get my loan. Finally my application was said to be cancelled and the $400.00 returned to me. Have not seen the money yet!
