I love everyone at First Urology. I started out seeing Dr Blackford when he was there. He was very caring running many tests to find out for sure what was wrong with me. Then he left and Dr Gunn became my doctor.Dr Gunn is extremely nice and caring. He ran the last test to see if an interstem for my bladder would stop my bladder spasms. He placed it later because the test worked.The permanent interstem works really well for me. The spasms haven’t completely stopped, but it is 100% better than it was before. Dr witten. Was very immature and unprofessional. I asked questions and let him know if my concerns and he threw it in my face saying I was fine and shouldn't have problems bc I'm young and that he knows what hes doing and bragged to me about his 20+ years of medical experience. I had two appointments with him both times he was rude and made me feel less important and like he cared. The other staff was fine and nice but I don't think this Dr should be a doctor!
Dr. Blackford did a great job. He and the nurses explained the process and answered any questions I had. They are a great group of people there.
Dr Welsh and front office staff (Gwen) and medical assistants were very professional, friendly and helpful. They take time to listen and go above and beyond to make sure all your questions are answered. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top notch place to go. They really do care about you!
Cancelled my appointment twice in a row and it takes about 3-4 weeks to make another one. Nobody ever answers the phone when you call. The urologist I saw was great, but unfortunately they’re either short staffed or have way too many patients.
