My husband and I cannot say enough great things about the care our dog received at First State Urgent Vet. We made the painful decision to put our beloved Golden Retriever, Brigadier down over a weekend. We found First State Vet in Newark DE. They were so kind and compassionate! We appreciated their support so much. They sent us a card with personal notes from all the staff! The Animal Soul handled his remains and sent us a very nicely done clay paw print and a great card. We feel at peace! Thank you all.
I went because my vet didn't have an appointment for my cat for 2-3 weeks, and my cat was showing signs of a bladder infection again, including peeing on my bed and hiding. (My poor baby!) When I went in, the waitstaff was nice, but the medical staff immediately accused me of not having enough litter boxes in the house. He told me the issue was behavioral and wanted to charge me $120.00 for that. I insisted that it wasn't behavioral to which they performed a test of her urine and found she has a bacterial infection.
