I have mixed reviews. we LOVED Tony, who was part of sales and made us feel comfortable and helped speak up on our behalf. We also LOVED Martin who knows everything there is to know about pools and pool maintenance, and probably a million other things. the entire process took a very long time but was in the middle of the extremely rainy spring/summer that we had. I was terribly disappointed in my experience with FSBD. My project had anticipated completion time frame of 6-8 weeks. I was told by the company rep that this was a small, easy job for FSBD. My project started July 17th, 2025 with an anticipated completion date of early October. This job was not completed until AFTER 2025. 455sq’ of space took almost 6 months to complete. Had a great experience working with First State to add in a pool, patio, and fence to our backyard. Would highly recommend!
When we bought our house in 2018, we knew that we wanted a complete reimagining of the kitchen, which had been updated since it was built in 1962 but was still small and cramped. We had our deck replaced (and upgraded) by First State Building and Design in May/June of 2025. They did an amazing job . High quality workmanship. The schedule was delayed a bit due to frequent rain in during May of this year.
