My daughter had a bad experience at another dentist office that made her frightened to go back. She struggles with a lot of anxiety and has a hard time with light and sound...this team of loving people have taken a gentle, slow approach that has built up my daughters trust. She now looks forward to visiting her friends at First Smiles! She definitely still struggles with fear once she's in the chair, but the staff handle her needs beautifully and they get the job done. 😆
I have been taking my 3 kids to Dr. Avula for a couple of years now. She is SO phenomenal with them, always engaging them in conversation and making them feel comfortable. The hygienists and office staff are very friendly and helpful.
