If you like roaches, this is the place to go. The building is old and run down. Ac doesn't work half the time. The elevator is always going out.
I just moved my mother out this horrific complex. Between what she paid based on her income and what HUD subsidizes, these roach infested apartments are paying $1300 in rent. And based on the number of units that means they are generating approximately $100k A MONTH in gross revenue. Imagine your loved living in a $1300 a month apartment where their food and pots and pans and dishes have to be kept in sealed plastic totes because the roaches are SO BAD. I'm try to get help for my mother. She moved in this past September. Her apartment has so many problems. The air conditioners does not work properly, leaking in her kitchen, dish washer is not even set up to work, roaches, no hot water to take a proper bath, and now her heat is not working. This in unacceptable. This is no way to treat seniors. It's getting colder outside. They're doing nothing about it either. They are very misleading and dishonest. We're trying to seek help.
