Jay and First Republic Mortgage are Amazing! Jay & Staff are very compassionate, caring, and professional. They closed our VA loan in record time, that NO other lenders could come close to. Run as fast as you can from this place. Jay Johnson talked the talk but can't walk the walk, I spent several months giving them all the paperwork and running myself ragged only to have him tell me the day BEFORE the closing that he wasn't going to be able to come through. EPIC FAIL. don't walk, run from this place! Try First Merchants, I'm told they have their underwriters in house.... This was the single worst experience with a bank and/or mortgage company EVER.
