I had a small job, that was quoted with a different company for $150 more, price was great w these guys! They were nice and professional.
First Rate Moving & Storage is great! I have worked with Jay & his team on multiple occasions. They arrived on time, communicate any changes/issues, and took the time to wrap furniture. They have made the moving process as stress free as possible.
Shockingly bad experience with these guys. So far we've identified about $4000 worth of damage from this move (and still counting). They did not do the job the way we agreed, and failed to do the job that they did try to do in the time they were supposed to. They did not take care to protect floors, even after being asked to do so (repeatedly). A week after the move, we're still cataloging the damaged floors, furniture, stairs, mishandled food and other temperature sensitive items, and so on. We have moved 6 times in the las... read more
