DO NOT RENT FROM FIRST PLACE PROPERTIES You will severely regret it. The individuals who work at First Place Properties are rude, cruel, and disrespectful. They are unfriendly and passive aggressive. My roommates and I have frequently communicated with Aimee and Journey about maintenance issues and fees and every interaction has been unpleasant. First Place Property units are not well-maintained. So I really like this property....Ryan my maintenance guy os awesome. He explained everything that needed to be done...walked me thru it and then validated that the work was done right. He also fixed things I didnt notice. I really appreciate the level of concern and respect I'm given as a tenant. I was even late for rent my first month because of identity theft and after communicating my problem they worked with me and let me resolve it. From the leading agent down I am a satisfied tenant.
Slumlords. They don't maintain their places. The place was disgusting when we moved in and when we moved out, after we cleaned the place as well as we could (given it is a pit!), they took our security deposit. Scumbag slumlords. Steer clear. (I couldn't give zero stars)
This is by far the worst housing company in Lexington. I've lived in the same unit for two years now with First Place Properties and they are horrible. Our house had mold for about 6 months before they came and fixed it. We had to get the Housing Code to come and complain to them because they wouldn't fix our problem after we called almost everyday for 6 months. They are rude and disrespectful. WARNING: TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! security deposit which should be used for damages that were caused by tenants is used for things such as "cleaning fee" and "administration fee". However, the house that you get when you move in is disgusting and has definitely not had $200 worth of cleaning done to it. Bugs bugs bugs!!! Mantance comes in unannounced walked right into my bedroom when i was sleeping. The utilities where over the top water bill at one time went up to 200.00 in a month! There's drug dealers on the property!

DO NOT RENT from these slumlords!!!!!!!! Completely a joke of a company. Took $900 from our deposit without any proof or explanation. Spent two days cleaning before moving out. Had black mold, leaking roofs, animals living in the walls .... And they treated me like I was an annoying idiot. If lawyer fees didn't cost so much I would sue this company!! I will bad mouth First Place Properties all over campus.
ZERO STARS!!! No doubt the WORST property management company around! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! The place we lived in was not well maintained, and as another review said, our basement was locked and we could not get to our breaker box! I later found out this is totally illegal and against the law! Don't ever plan on getting your deposit back because they are ripping you off for cleaning a spotless apartment!
