This "urgent" care center is a joke. You are not seen right away, Most of the time you have to sit and wait for hours at a time because the doctor is never on site. He is always some place else or siting back in his office hiding out to avoid having to see the patients. He has also had numerous law suits filed against him and he will fradulently bill your insurance company and make you pay the difference. So make sure if you go to check your bill!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!
Please try to go to another facility to avoid any legal issues at least let alone medical problems.
I am so pleased with my visit! The girls at the front desk were very friendly. It's always nice to see a smiling face when your not feeling well. The girls were all very helpful and efficient, my wait time was not bad at all. The nurse practioner that I saw was okay, she was knowledgable, don't get me wrong, but her demeanor was just "ok". But when you have friendly staff makes a big difference! I will gladly revisit First Med again! Keep it up girls!
I went to the "urgent" care center because of a foot injury. I was seen after the receptionist made sure that I had insurance and she had taken my co-payment. The provider looked at my foot and told me that I would need an x-ray. She said, "I could write you an order for the hospital, but it takes 4 to 5 days for them to send the results to us.
