They don’t give full detail on your loan account, they act like they are trying to cover something up. I called twice and they were no help, one person said that if I want information on my account I would have to call them to get the information I want. SOME MUCH FOR INTERNET BANKING.
Having been with first IB for over 10 years, I will randomly have thoughts about going (back) to a more traditional bank. Something with physical local branches around the world, or even just around the country, or even just in my time zone! Chris Lawson is a great loan officer to work with. He takes the time to explain what is going on throughout the process so you are never left wondering what the next steps are. If you do have a question, there is no need to worry because he will explain it in an easy to understand manner and if you still don't get it, he'll take a step back so that you never feel like you are not smart. It's hard for banks to market their unique advantages. Every bank says that they provide great service and care about their customers. FIB throughout the many years I've banked here actually walks the walk. My most recent experience with customer service was fast, simple, efficient, and resolved my issue with absolutely no hassle.
