Pulled out a loan with my husband. Was told the insurance on it covered involuntary unemployment and both of us if either one of us became disabled or suffered an accident. When we went in to file a claim the guy submitted the paperwork and said we would hear back in a week. We did not. Three weeks later i call and learn they don't cover unemployment and I'm not covered under the disability. He straight up lied. Lied again "submitting" the paperwork. I have been banking with this credit union for over 6 years, but the way I was treated yesterday made me want to close my account. I used to always boast about what a great credit union it was and even referred people. I won't do that again. Especially at this location. I did a check deposit through the drive-thru. Filled out the deposit slip and provided my ID and a check per usual. The hold time became a little longer than normal, and the lady that originally greeted me never came back. Very helpful staff. Solved scam/fraud attempt. Got replacement /new debit/ÀTM while I waited. Also got new pin security the same day.
