My Wife and I switched over from an OBGYN to First coast Midwifery and it was one of the best experiences of my life. It was fresh new and the best part very family oriented and educational. The things you learn being under a midwife is so life changing and for the betterment of not only your child but spouse. Your spouse gets the utmost care from the pregnancy all the way to vaginal health which makes delivery more manageable and less stress. I want to write a very detailed review from start to finish. Since switching my care over at around 8 weeks, I have been beyond satisfied. As each visit continued toward my due date, my prenatal appointments were informative and thorough. Every question I had was consistently answered, and I always felt prepared for what was coming next. I ended up going past my due date and delivered at 41 weeks and 3 days. I switched over from an OB GYN office at 28 weeks and I'm glad I did. I felt very comfortable and encouraged after each visit, the prenatal appts were quick while getting all the necessary screening and labs done. There are toys in the living room for kids while mom has the appt, so I felt comfortable bringing my toddler with me. I had a labor with them recently and their communication and support during the process was great, even when labor was taking a long time.
