We did a significant amount of research in trying to find the most reputable, fairly priced, and skilled roofing company we could for our roof replacement switching from cedar shake to asphalt shingles and First Choice Exteriors nailed it. First Choice Exteriors was chosen by our townhouse association to replace the hail damaged roofs on 68 units. The skylights on many units were also replaced. Our home had 4 large skylights made by Velux. Mike at First Choice contacted us about our options for the replacement. We made our choice months in advance of the work and the skylights arrived in plenty of time for the installation. My experience with First Choice was very poor. My insurance company approved my claim in August 2023, but the project wasn't completed until June 2024. During this entire time, they removed a section of my siding on the front of my house to try to get a match (I do not know why they took it from here and not the back or detached garage). The report to match the siding took months because they lost a piece of the siding apparently.
