My husband and I prayed on the way to the pawnshop to be able to get the money to pay our rent. I’m pleased to say that God put a literal ANGEL in our lives! We walked in and a man offered to assist us. We told him what we needed and we showed him what we had to offer. He had to pass on a couple of things and we got a little nervous that we wouldn’t have enough money for the rent. I had an item in pawn at this location and tried to repurchase in layaway due to a hardship event, after it was forfeited. The shop refused to allow me to place it on layaway even though it was already in their sales inventory. I didn’t even asked for any special treatment and was willing to pay for the item at the fair market value the store had it price for.
