I first saw Dr. Motamedi after my rheumatologist passed away. Small world she knew him and when she asked what he died from she answered her own question' well he was obese'. Is that the only reason he could have died? Should she have even said that? As an obese patient can I trust her to move beyond my weight to find out what is going in. Not sticking around to find out...
Poor quality of bedside manner. PCP and I both saw more problems manifest but she just shrugged them aside. Just said "Won't be normal again" but offered no real treatment alternatives. I'm ready to drop her and seek opinions for a more caring Rheumatologist.
Poor bedside manner. Dr Motamedi is always in a hurry to get through her appointment and doesn't take the time to review the file before hand. She does not take the time to ask how I am feeling or to ask about specific issues and pain levels I experience. She is quick to push new meds without finding out if other medical issues may be affected or be contraindicated. After 2 1/2 yrs she still doesn't know who I am nor bother to review my other serious medical issues. Very cold and impersonal.
