Waited an hour and a half on an oil change with an appointment and got charged almost double what I pay anywhere else

Took my car in to have my AC checked. A short time later I received a call that I had to have a new air compressor and approximately $1800 worth of work done to my car. Of course I panicked. I called my dad and got him on a three-way call with the technician, once my dad was on the phone, the technician changed his story and told us that my compressor was still working just not functioning efficiently. Do not call the number listed , it goes to the corporate available appointment times . The local Firestone is not notified of your appointment booked .However the person at the desk did work me in due to others not showing up for their appointment.
Went in for a large nail in my tire. They patched it up and I was out in an hour. Quick and efficient service.
