Friends stay away from Firestone Auto service place near Home Depot in temple. Yesterday I went in for an oil change, and left $40 in my car, well when they were done I got in my car and noticed they had put all my receipts on top of where the money was rolled up, i moved them and there was nothing. $40 stolen!!! They couldn't have been misplaced like the manager claims bc I literally had just put them in there before I got out of the car to give the keys to them. �� so irritating when people steal from you. I was quoted 30 minutes for a vehicle inspection. It has now been an hour and 15 minutes and I'm STILL waiting.
finally under new management! Got my oil change and tire rotation done today :)
Generally, excellent service. But I am exhausted with the attempts to sell me a fuel injection system flush. My gas mileage is still good, the engine idles normally, and the power output is same as it ever was. I don't need this service. Please. Enough with the up-sell. Sometimes dopey, naive women actually know their own vehicles.
Took vehicle in for tire rotation, now it shakes and pulls to left! What did they do?
Don't go to "Firestone" in Temple TX. I had my car serviced there to fix a water pump, they fixed it. But 3 weeks later which is tonight, I found out the entire wheel well panel on the right side that they had to take off to replace the water pump, was never put back on. My car started to make a noise of a grinding sound which was the broken panel rubbing on my tire. Now my entire right side wheel well is exposed. They also busted the under carriage panel that keeps dirt an crap out. I am beyond pissed right now.
