Had a simple flat to fix. Tried to sell me a new tire, based on what was a small scuff on the sidewall that has magically open up since I dropped the tire off. Bummer, because this place was close to my house.
Took my car for an inspection. They wanted to charge 500 bucks for new bushings/control arm. Ordered the parts and took it to a mechanic. He took them off and there is nothing wrong with them. I have the parts that were removed and I'm going to contact the state to find out what can be done about this crooked inspection site.
DO NOT GO to this place for an INSPECTION! They will over charge you for pieces on your car that were not even defective. They will ROB YOU of your money for a simple sticker.
I had an appointment at 10am for balancing tires and its been an hour and my car still is not pulled back yet. It takes 20-30 minutes to do a balancing job. I could do it myself if i had the machine.
