I made an appointment to get my car inspected for today and was turned away because they said it was against the law to do state inspections by appointment. I did some research and it's not against the law and a multitude of places offer appointments for state inspection. Quite frankly I'm disappointed. I don't know if they are misinformed or if they deliberately misinformed me but I wouldn't suggest making an online appointment for your inspections.
Went to replace damaged CV axle and discovered they put the wrong lug nut back on my front left tire. I do all of my own car work and immediately after I got my car inspected here my front left CV axle started clicking. I have to turn right into my apartment and parking space EVERY day and am very conscientious about my car care. This clicking was not happening before I took my car here for inspection. I've been going to them for the last few months . At first the experience was great . Now every time I take my car it's more of a headache than any thing . Scheduled a 8:30 appoint for a dash diagnostic test . The man told me it only takes a hour to do . So when I called at 1130am to see what the hold up was and why they hadn't called me yet . Took my car for oil change,never got done. Put my keys in box,didn't know about envelopes which in the dark I didn't see. They weren't busy,I had an appt. No one obviously wondering about the car on the lot. Never again.
Went there for a oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. Everything went fine except for the oil change. They forgot to put the oil in after draining it.
