Came in for a purge valve replacement, oil change and inspection. I had my car previously looked over for inspection and all it needed to pass was the new purge valve. My appointment was 9 am, i didnt get my car untill a little before 4 pm. They told me i needed a new strut to pass inspection and it would be >600$. I passed on this and took my car having only the oil changed and purge valve swapped. I had the car looked over again by another mechanic who said there was nothing wrong with my struts.
