I have been a Firestone customer for years, which makes this experience extremely disappointing. I brought my 2012 Mercedes E350 in because I was smelling gas, and I also requested an oil change, fluids topped off, and an inspection. When I picked it up, my car was actively leaking oil onto the exhaust, smoking, and producing such a strong burning-oil smell that I did not feel comfortable driving it. Firestone has earned my trust twice, about 20 years apart. The first time was in Pennsylvania on the coldest day of winter. My car wouldn’t start, and another shop told me it needed a timing belt that would cost at least $2,000. I needed the car urgently, so I had it towed to Firestone, which was open later. They told me it started right up for them and that the trouble may have been the battery in the cold. They didn’t charge me for a repair I didn’t need. The Firestone on 71st and Memorial has always been fast, friendly, and helpful. I've been going to them for at least a decade. Elaine at the front desk is a pleasure to speak with and anyone else I've spoken with has been courteous. I always direct people to go here when they need something done. Adrian was very helpful today September 24th 2026 as well. Really love this location.
