The Fireside Lodge B&B offers fantastic amenities and a cozy warmth that is missing from many of the bigger resorts in the area. It is pet-friendly and some the delightful extras include an extensive continental breakfast, wine and cheese in the evening and complimentary marshmallow toasting. Guests have ample opportunity to mingle with other guests; the rooms are cozy, clean and prettily furnished. A great option for a Tahoe escape, be it winter or summer.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in South Lake Tahoe! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The rustic decor, warm fireplace, and charming wooden interiors made it the perfect mountain getaway. One of the highlights of our trip was how pet-friendly the cabin was. After doing some research, I booked a cabin over the president’s day weekend. When we first pull up to the cabin, I saw Nick throwing salt on the icy ground. He immediately greeted us and checked us right in, show us the room and the amenities. Not to mentioned his sister Olivia called me earlier that check in date to make sure we want a third bed set up. We had a great time during our stay. This is a cozy, fun place that is family owned and operated. My husband and I had so much fun talking with the family. They have a sauna, bikes, paddle boards, dvd's, fire pit, game room, beer, wine, full bar, great breakfast, in room kitchen nook, fridge/freezer, fireplace and . I know I'm missing stuff but it's an awesome place to stay. We are already planning on coming back this summer. You won't be disappointed when you stay.
The rooms are fully equipped, nicely decorated, and in good repair. The lodge is beyond warm or welcoming, having amenities and fun daily events that leaves this lodge in it's own class. For us, the best feature here is that the management embraces our two rather large and boisterous dogs, not just tolerates them as other lodgings do. This is a resort for our four-footed family, not just the humans in the pack, and all had a great time.
5/5 stars: location, accommodations, service, people. Stayed twice last month: once for ski trip; second for ski trip + snow day with our Frenchies. Easy reservations/check-in/check-out; A Clean Well Lighted Place. Simple yet generous breakfast; Happy Hour met nice people and well behaved dogs. Yes, dog friendly. Great value > will be back again.
