Awesome experience. I highly recommend visiting whenever you find yourself in Bend.
Good food. The halibut was small portions though. Halibut was as skinny as paper...lol.. I'm from alaska and when you order halibut you get like 5 piece that are big and thick.
We have been to St Francis McMenamins several times and this was first time to stay over. It is charming and in a fun part of downtown. The rooms in the Art House are good sized but feel cozy. The secret door spaces are super cool! The Roman style bath pool is lovely...

I have yet to be disappointed with any of the McMenamins that we have stayed at. It is like Disneyland for Adults. They do not spare any expense and think of everything to make their guest stay the most enjoyable it can be. They have do much to offer and the hospitality it like no other. The only "wish" is to have rooms with hot tubs or soaking tubs. We checked into Brasada Ranch tonight just so we could have a hot tub in our room only to be disappointed and wished we were back at McMenamins.
Happy with happy hour. Wonderful staff. Great beers and food. Food improved over a previous visit here.
One of the coolest Mcmenamins properties! Great room.
Loved the hidden rooms. Check out the soak house at dusk, and you'll see some cool stained glass windows.
