We were traveling on I-26 and the service was very slow. We waited for 25 minutes for our sandwiches after ordering . A lot of workers doing things but the usual assembly line of sandwich making just wasn’t there. Really need someone to take charge. I would skip this location if you’re trying for a quick stop while traveling.
This was the fastest ive seen people get their sandwiches from a firehouse subs once you order. Once I received mine I knew why. I have never had a cold sub from a firehouse till today. The meat was cold and tje bread was hard from where it was not freshly toasted. Worst sandwich ever from a firehouse subs. Since your food prep area is closed off behind the wall they are preparing the food and letting it set and not preparing it fresh as its ordered.
