Fabulous find, welcoming staff, clean, ambiance, a home away from home, would definitely come back!
Accidentally ending up in downtown Barre, we found the most amazing inn and restaurant. Very welcoming staff and a room that feels like a second home for a night. For Europeans traveling all corners of the US for many years this is a true revelation.
Val was great. The entire experience was off the hook. Howie made our dinner one to remember. We'll definitely be back.
Went here for dinner with my family. I ordered chicken parm pasta and I could have made it better at home. My boyfriend ordered the prime rib special as medium rare. The steak was brought out more like medium well. Waited for a replacement dish, second steak was no different. The manager Suzanne was extremely rude and snappy. Not good customer service at all. We will not be back.

What a warm welcome we had upon arriving at the Inn. The room was gorgeous and had everything we needed. I could have spend hours roaming around looking at the antiques and reading the history of the Firehouse. The staff was so welcoming and reserved a table for us. We had a delicious dinner there also.We had a short stay, only one night but I could have stayed there forever. Bed was luxurious and comfy. We will be back.
