Firefly After Hours Pediatrics this place is a great option instead of the hospital to frighten a kid. My kid got stiches here labor day weekend and they were great and easy- most insurances accept too.

My daughter and her family recently moved to Stamford. The day they arrived their 11 week old daughter was in respiratory distress from a bad cold virus. My daughter went to the office and was seen immediately by Dr. Silverstein. He provide top notch medical care. He and his staff were knowledgeable, prompt and caring. He gave us his cell phone number and invited us to text him if we had any additional concerns or needs. This provided peace of mind.

Anytime Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine gets a call from a parent of an injured child, if we cannot immediately accommodate them, we always send them to Firefly. The best around for kids' emergency care by far. That's also where I bring my own children in an urgent situation. As a physician and health care consumer with a $6,000 health insurance deductible, I also like that a private place like Firefly is about 60-70% less costly than a hospital-owned urgent care or the Emergency Department.
