This doctor was extremely rude to my elderly mother. He old her that the test she needed would cost thousands and thousands of dollars and then he wanted to know if she had that much money. He needs to go back to medical school and learn some bedside manners. Just because my mother didn't have health insurance gave him no right to speak down to her.
First, Dr. Bannout is a fine doctor. We refer patients to him. When it comes time to pay the bill, patients always complain. Id like to see just one person go to Wal-mart and tell them..."Oh, Ill pay you when and if I can" and walk out with your goods! Youd go to jail for that. But people think they can do it to their healthcare providers! All physicians have the right to expect payment. Period. Healthcare isnt an entitlement in this country. Dr Bannout is nice BUT!!!! All the time when I get an appointment I have to wait for 2 hours Especially when you have children with you it is very very stressfull. When you finally get called in you have to wait in the exam room for another 20 to 40 minutes and the nurses arent that friendly. When Dr. Bannout is finally coming to see you he always gives me the feeling I need to hurry up with my talking so he can go see his other patients. Im not feeling welcome there.
