Edit: Thanks for the friendly service over the years. Genuine 100% authentic good old fashioned LBS (Local bike store) best bike shop this side of the Yarra. When your fed up with the pubescent punks at the 'authorised dealers' or getting no love from the hopeless hipsters at the el-cheapo fixie shops and really need some proper bicycle parts, advice and service you go to Finnegan's.
I would love to share my thoughts about Richard and the amazing bike shop he owned, I went there a lot when I was very young and Richard always so helpful and so understanding such a amazing and caring man , I heard the news that his now not here with us anymore and would like to send my condolence and to say you will be missed and thanks so very much for everything the memories will always be with me 🙏🏻😇🌸🚲🚲🚲🚲
Update: I'll leave my review here as a tribute to Richard who passed away recently, October or November I think. I met some of his family as they were winding up the shop, and they were all good folks, so you can see the stock where Richard came from. 5th generation local bike shop. They specialise in repairs, and the owner Mr Finnigan is very knowledgeable about bikes, he is always a pleasure to talk to. If you need a repair than this is the shop to go, support the local family run business. Unfortunately Mr Finnigan passed away. His brother is looking after the shop for now. Very sad.
