As anyone who's had an injury knows, recovery is a journey. I went through the normal channels looking for a prosthetic device that could not only support the partial loss of my middle finger but could also help me play guitar again. It was a tall ask and I did a ton of research. There was one device I found that showed some potential but it was over $12k and my insurance denied it. Then I found Fingy3d and Ephraim. He was so great to work with and he genuinely wanted to help. He went through several iterations to find the r... read more
This past August, I lost the tip of my index finger in a traumatic accident. As a musician and digital marketing content writer, I honestly didn't know how I was going to manage. Typing is literally my job, and playing piano is one of my greatest passions. Finding Fingy 3D was a game-changer. The prosthetic arrived quickly, and I was amazed at the immediate difference. I could type again without pain or difficulty which is huge for my career. Even better, I was able to play piano for the first time since the accident. The Fi... read more
Fingy3D is awesome! And Ephraim is fantastic! Mine was an unusual situation, not the standard Fingy3D problem, but Ephraim created a device that worked perfectly for this unique situation. With this being a unique situation, my device took a couple of tries. But with each version, Ephraim and I touched base, worked together to come up with the next model, and ended up with a product that does everything I had hoped for. Thank you, Fingy3D! And thank you, Ephraim!
Got a prosthetic for my little finger in order to keep playing the guitar. I mover to a four string instrument to accommodate the loss of the end of my little finger, but wanted to continue playing the six string. The folks helped me get a properly fitting prosthetic. It is comfortable and fits well. Unfortunately, my”feel” is off when using it. I’ll continue trying it to see if I can overcome the problem. Fortunately, it seems that they are working on a prosthetic to help address this issue. Fingers crossed!
Most seamless and painless experience ever felt you upload your photos and your custom device is mailed out to you and there is nothing else to it. Great product.
