This past weekend I was at a State Championship show at Syracuse Fairgrounds 7 hours from home. My horse fell ill and I had contacted several vets that other members had given me with no response. Finally I got Finger Lakes number, they called me almost immediately. Walked me through a few things and came out very fast. Dr. Nash was kind, professional and very knowledgeable. I am so very grateful for him and this practice. They saved my horse. I will be saving their number and recommending them to my friends. Thank you Finge... read more

Dr Nash is truly a compassionate person to the horses and owners. I had such a horrible experience Friday trying to get a vet to come see my injured mare. from Canastota I called Oswego, Pulaski, Vernon, elite, cazenovia and not one of them had time for an emergency. Dr Nash did, even though my partners injury was not fixable and I had to euthanize, he was kind to her and I. He was honest, he helped her to the ground so my son and I could say good bye. Both Drs. Jeff LaPoint and Sean Nash are outstanding veterinarians! Jeff has tremendous experience in managing the equine athlete. He has a great eye for subtle details in movement to pinpoint the root cause of issues. He performs acupuncture and is the best for dental work around. Both are kind with the horses, love to teach horse owners and have a great sense of humor. Oh, and Jeff can sing!

We were first timers with fingerlakes equine. The Dr. Came up was very sympathetic to our needs told us straight. He was wonderful. Despite the reason he was there i would definitely call on them again. They are there whenever you need them.

Finger Lakes Equine Practice is an outstanding highly professional and astute practice of Cornell Veterinarians who have been committed to the relationship between the equine and the owner. They responded immediately to a fever in my horse on a Sunday and had him on his feet by Tuesday with accurate treatment and diagnoses. Dr. La Point has a great bedside manner with the Human Owner!

Dr. Nash made time in his schedule on late notice to come out and do an endoscopy on my horse. He was VERY nice and made sure to explain everything he was doing and everything happening. I will definitely be using him again
