I intended to resize a handcrafted vintage ring. They were very honest in their assessment and took the time to explain that, due to the setting, resizing would very likely cause the stone to loosen, there was no way to strengthen it without ruining the delicate design, and, due to its unique shape, the stone would be hard to replace if lost. Top service and a lot of knowledge, this gentleman knows what he's doing. I have the capacity to chnage 2 x sizes in my ring finger on any given day and Paul sized me up correctly with the ring fitting perfectly for all occasions. Very good discussion about styles and materials, a pleasant and great experience all round.
