My biggest wish when I joined Fika was to be able to move my body when I heard a song that moved me without saying ouch! I am now moving and grooving! No ouch! Just smiles! Feels great to be back to myself! Dr. Danika is a ray of sunshine when the body is clouded up. If I could rate her alone on personality. She would get 10 stars!
I cannot recommend Fika enough. When I first walked in, my body was running on pure fumes—completely stuck in chronic fight-or-flight, holding onto years of tension, and utterly exhausted. Dr. Danika is really great - kind, competent, funny. I went to her with excruciating shoulder pain that was consistent and very interruptive to my daily life. It took some time but her plan of action really helped and the shoulder pain has stopped. I am so grateful for her skill and talent. And, as a Black person, it was so so nice to find a Black Chiropractor in Oakland. Her office is calming and quiet, her front desk staff are super nice and I love that there’s parking. I’m so glad to have Fika on my wellness team.
Hard to put into words how attuned, patient, and wonderful Dr.Danica was with my kid. We had a transformative experience. She is simply the BEST!!!
We’ve been taking our 4-month-old here for a little over a month and have already noticed such a difference. She’s sleeping better, is much less fussy overall, and we see progress with every visit. Dr. Danika is so kind, patient, and great with her. We’re really happy with the progress she’s making and would definitely recommend!
