We chose The Fig Tree to celebrate my son's 21st birthday and his receiving the Purple Heart for injuries received in Iraq. There were 10 of us along with several other large parties but we felt as if we were the only people in the restaurant. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the food was great. We ordered a variety of dishes and everyone of them came out perfect. We go to San Antonio every year, and wouldn't miss visiting The Fig Tree at least once. The food is exceptional, and if you want to eat on the patio, they have heaters and will even give you a blanket to put over your lap! The staff is excellent.
