Refined, gracious, and worth the hype We finally made it to FIG, and the evening lived up to its reputation in every way. Parking was easy in nearby paid lots, and the dining room was refreshingly spacious — a rarity in Charleston. Incredible dinner experience. Our server, Chase (Roll Tide), did a fantastic job guiding us through the menu. I have Celiac and must eat gluten free, and he really took the time to make sure I felt comfortable knowing what to order and what could be customized. We ordered the shrimp escabeche, swordfish, and grouper-- all were fantastic! We were not expecting dessert to be a high point of the meal, but both the peach ice cream/sorbet and the chocolate budino were awesome. The clientele is a little stiff. But everything was wonderful. Food is clean, fresh, very well prepared. Plating is simple. All high quality. Chase our waiter was patience and so kind. Drinks are good.
