Food Is Good, BUT NOT GREAT – I don't really understand what the buzz is all about with FIG. I mean, the ambience to okay, but nothing special. The location is not that great other than being somewhat central. I keep going back and hoping to have my socks knocked off, but it just hasn't happened. The food is good, but not great. Great atmosphere, fantastic fresh food – My husband and I had dinner the first night we were in Charleston at Fig. We were blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the simplistic brilliance of the food. Each dish was very delicate and perfectly composed. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

so good – the food and the ambience at this resturant are so simplisticly beautiful. the resturant is feeled with these large comfrtable lights, and the colors of the dining room are very warm and invinting. the food is so simple but is done with such care and pureness that it was one of the best meals that i have ever had. the chef does an amazing job with taking care of each dish and giving it just what it needs with out taking over. i highly reccomend this place it is amazing.
