Visit one of the most comfortable and incredible restaurants in Charleston—FIG, which is an abbreviation for their slogan, "Food is Good!" This eatery has simplistic interiors, community tables and a bar serving up farm fresh dishes and excellent sea-food. The menu changes often to reflect seasonal flavors, but the quality and quantity are consistent. Try the Hakurei turnips, pork shank, and cauliflower with pancetta. Everything tastes so heavenly, you'll be blessing the chef when you leave.

Fig is by far the best place we've eaten during our visit this week and Kerrin was amazing!! She has a passion for customer service and food and we enjoyed having her as our server!!
Outstanding dining experience! My sister and I stopped by Saturday evening without a reservation and had about a 20 minute wait before we were seated at the bar. Our server Nicki was so cheerful and made our experience that much better. The gnocchi is out of this world, so creamy and delicious! My sister had the triggerfish and I had the snapper both were phenomenal! The drinks were stout and amazing as well!
The food was of course amazing. Ask for the waiter Jason, he's great!
We spent 4 days in Charleston and hit as many of the 'musts' as we could, but Fig was our first stop and the best! The service was outstanding and I dearly wish I could remember our excellent server's name! It was our first vacation with our one year old and trying to figure out how to still do some of the things we loved with a small child. Upscale dining is always fraught with worry for me since I never know how we'll be treated. I found all that vaunted southern hospitality at Fig, from the moment we entered. And the fish... read more
It was hard to get in and the parking situation sucks(go figure Charleston) but if you can get in the wait is totally worth it! I loved the crab spaghetti the salted caramel chocolate black out cake topped it all off. They even made the best Arnold Palmer I've had. Wait staff, Food, beverages: it's all good.
My wife and I stopped in last night Aug 8, 17 no reservations...immediately we were sitted at the with a full menu served at the bar. With a crab spaghetti appetizer, grilled Trigger fish, sucking pig and a fig tart for dessert the meal and service were phenomenal. There is no mistake why there are two James Beard awards hanging on the wall
Favorite restaurant in charleston.... and that's saying a lot!
