I did not change my name when I got married. We had some checks made out to my first name and my husbands first and last name. We are both listed on the account. The employee at this location who the teller called back to help told me “this is what happens when you don’t change your last name”. I can understand the problem with depositing the checks, but not the frankly misogynist response I received. We have banked with fifth third since I was in high school, but may be moving now.
I'm over 5/3 Bank and plan on switching, however, Karen who works at the Caledonia Branch along with all the other Ladies and Gentleman have been a great help in current issues of fraud. Karen has been one of my biggest helpers in the last year dealing with my banking issues and has never let me down!
