Recommended5 stars Wow, what great food we had here! We felt like we should be spending a lot more than we did on an excellent and unique beef stew and delicious fish & chips. The salad was SO good and fresh and obviously made with precision. This restaurant has really upped its game with a new chef in the kitchen. It was good before but now the food is really special. Can’t wait to come back on our next trip to PDX. I also liked our waiter’s friendly smile and the music. Lovely neighborhood hangout.

A nice comfy tavern I can walk to from my house, with great beers on tap.
Our waiter was awesome, not a fan of kids in a bar, but hey it was Sunday, and happy hour, so I get it. Nice quaint spot, great tap list!!
Helpful staff, prompt service, DELICIOUS food. I got the blackened chicken & bleu cheese Mac & Cheese and it was HEAVENLY. My husband got the Hophouse burger, we shared the Poutine. It was decadent, & cooked perfectly. My husband also got a locally brewed beer and filled a growler because it was so good. When in Portland we RARELY dine at the same place twice, but we went back again today for happy hour and got another burger (for me this time) and the chicken sandwich. Great again.
