Lois Hannam, also known as The Gallery Lady, treated me to lunch at Fifendekel in the west end and wow…what a spot. Incredible sandwiches, Thai soup, and easily one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. I went for the lemon meringue pie! The food was delicious and Lois was great company!
Great place for lunch (M to S). Fresh made sandwich bar with soup and dessert add-ons Their Wicked Tai Chicken soup on Tuesday is my go for favourite.
I arrived 30 mins prior to closing and my first impression was that staff were in a rush to close up shop. Service was clipped and rushed. My first time to this location. My impression of the flapper pie is if you grab a glob of handful of sugar and put it into your mouth. Flavourless and tooth-achingly sweet. Fresh, delicious and lots of options for soup, sandwiches and pie. Clean, welcoming environment and friendly staff.
Place has gone downhill , spoiled old vegetable's on sandwich , workers running their fingers through their hair with no gloves and then touching food that they are making/ serving
