They blindsided me at my presigning regarding paperwork that need to be signed and notarized. They told me closing couldn't happen unless this was signed. This was on a Friday and closing was Monday. I was in a frantic scramble to do this as I dont have contact with the parties that needed to sign. I was made to feel it was my fault. They had many weeks to do this and then it was put on me. I don't know how they can stay in business with that inefficiency and pure sloppiness. They have no idea the stress it caused me.
Just because my old employer from a decade ago opened a 401k plan due to my employment. Fidelity has denied me opening my own account because I cannot remember transactions from a decade ago. One rep said I could show an ID in person and then still have to answer tge questions from a decade ago. I would have to call my employer since has closed down the location I worked at and the moved. How is my employer supposed to know who I am after a decade and there are new people working there. So it is sad Fidelity is with the Elit... read more
