We've had a mixed experience with Fidelity for a recent home purchase. The staff there is very friendly, but that's pretty much all the positive I can write about. The big problem is that they forced us to buy a title insurance, when we did not have to (100% cash). This type of racket should be banned. Then we had two consecutive errors in our good faith estimate, and in the end, they charged us for an phantom "additional charge" of $150, even though they had said earlier that is was just a placeholder, and that it would be ... read more
I recently purchased a home in town. At the close of escrow, a clerical error was found after an otherwise smooth transaction. Debbie and her team went the extra mile to ensure the issue was resolved to everyone's satisfaction. I have a lot of appreciation for Debbie and her team at FNT.
