Fibre Space is simply the best yarn store around DC metro area for a knitter as well as for a teacher! Incredibly polite knowledgeable staff, well-stocked, organized, and ever on the heels of bringing the new things in the industry to offer to a new or a seasoned knitter! The store is not just a store, it's a thriving community that gathers a lot of crafters of various backgrounds to learn and discover new things!
My favorite DC area yarn shop! I went there a lot when I lived in DC summer of 2016 and make a point to go back there whenever I'm in town. A must visit for any yarnaholic in DC!
This is my favorite local yarn store, and, since I'm in Burke, it's not very local! I drop in every time I'm in Old Town, and I have had nothing but gracious offers of help and suggestions for new yarns, patterns, and projects. It may be good that I'm not right next door, or I would be in all the time causing irreparable damage to my wallet! :D
