I called and made my appointment and double checked with the receptionist to make sure they took my insurance (VSP) and I was told yes. When I got to the clinic the receptionist ran my insurance and told me what VSP covered. It was lower than what I expected, but I figured maybe it had changed. After the doctor dilated my eyes, I asked the receptionist to run my insurance again and THEN I was told that they are actually out of network for VSP so that’s why I wasn’t getting my full allowance. I had my first visit last week with Dr. Ferris. He made me feel very comfortable .He didn't try to over sale me anything . I felt well taken care of. The staff is very kind and supportive.
Been using Dr. Ferris for years. Best one in Jasper by far.
I have seen every eye doctor in Jasper. Dr Ferris gave me hope that I could see my babies face without having surgery(I have rare vision). He was God sent to me and if every MD were like Dr. Ferris the world would be a better place.
